One of the important objectives of the Advanced Program in Aquaculture is to equip students with English capability to enable them to study and work in foreign universities and companies in addition to specialized knowledge. Therefore, in the program, they are introduced to internships in abroad organizations related to aquaculture.
We are proud to announce that one of our students, Huynh Nguyen Nguyen Ha, was selected for a one-year internship in Switzerland by Greenfish AG. During the internship, she had opportunities to operate an indoor Recirculating Aquaculture System and attend projects related to biomass algae culture and the selection of useful microorganisms. Besides, she had chances to travel to some European countries and visited Ghent University (Belgium) where she wishes to pursue a master's program after graduation.
Greenfish AG (Switzerland) is a start-up company in shrimp farming applying indoor recirculating aquaculture systems such as auto-feeding systems, environmental monitoring systems, dortmund filters, protein skimmers, biology fillers, and denitrification.
