Ph.D. PROGRAMS
Ph.D. program in Aquaculture: This Ph.D. program was initially offered in 2006. The training duration is 3 years. Ph.D. students are trained to (i) attain comprehensive knowledge in the field related to the Ph.D. research in aquaculture; (ii) be proactive, creative, and independent thinking; (iii) be capable of leading and monitoring research activities; (iv) be capable to solve specialized issues at national and international scales/levels. The program requires 11 credits of coursework (for intake candidates holding Master's degree) or 30 credits of coursework (for intake candidates holding BSc degree), 9 credits of a general literature overview and specialized topics, 1-2 international peer-reviewed papers, 2-3 national peer-reviewed papers, seminars, and the Ph.D. dissertation. |
